Six
Sigma

What is it?
Six Sigma is a methodology to improve business processes to increase performance and decrease defects. Some people refer to this management process as "lean Six Sigma" which is a philosophy of improvement that values prevention over detection of defects. Six Sigma reduces process variation and focuses on control, but lean reduces waste and focuses on standardization and flow. Both work to improve quality, cost, etc for customers.
