What is it?
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs improve healthcare by identifying problems, implementing and monitoring corrective action, and studying its effectiveness. Every aspect of care is monitored such as access to care, continuity of care, emergency care, deaths, etc. The program is an ongoing cycle of collecting data and using the data to make decisions that will improve program processes.
